Background
Silvertone 1484/1485 amps are legendary in their own right, but have undeniably poor reverb. If it works it is practically unusable. I play a lot of surf music so reverb is pretty important to me. My main amp is an Ampeg Gemini I which has the lushest, fullest reverb I have ever found. This page documents putting an approximation of the Ampeg Gemini I reverb circuit into a Silvertone 1484.
